Erik and Hannah’s Kitchi Gammi Club Wedding

City: Duluth, MN Venue:

If you’re going to receive marriage advice from anyone, it should be someone with a bit of marriage experience. Make sense, right? Hannah’s grandparents just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary- SIXTY YEARS. My hats off to them, and I hope Erik and Hannah take every opportunity to soak in their wisdom.

People drove from all over the midwest and beyond to join Hannah and Erik at the historic Kitchi Gammi Club in Duluth, MN. It was a wondrous day filled with laughter, tears, and a “few” groomsmen speeches. May you two soak in all that your day encompassed and live a life of love that lasts 60 years and beyond.

Sara and Adam’s Kitchi Gammi Club Wedding

City: Duluth, MN Venue:

Bride and groom portrait outside walking on a nature lined path.

Sara and Adam met online and immediately hit it off. They had their first date at Grandma’s in Canal Park, and have been together ever since!

Adam proposed on a surprise weekend trip to Lutsen. He deliberately would not tell Sara where they were going, and only said to, “bring inside clothes, outside clothes, something nice for dinner, and a swimsuit.” She abided, and the couple made their way to Lutsen, where they immediately checked into an amazing poplar river condo, which was right on the water. They went hiking all day Saturday, and at the end of the day, Adam finally asked if Sara would “accompany him to dinner as his fiance?” She, of course, said yes!

The leaves of the trees on this late fall day were crisp and gorgeous, which made for a perfect setting for this happy couple’s wedding day. The couple said “I do,” at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, a beautiful church which happens to be where Sara’s parents got married as well. The ceremony was the first time Adam saw his wedding ring, allowing Sara to pick it out for him, which was a beautiful demonstration of trust. They then made their way to the Kitchi Gammi Club in Duluth, MN, which her parents are members of, to celebrate the knot being officially tied. It was a beautiful day full of love and happiness, and I was honored to be a part of it. Congratulations Sara and Adam!
