Ireland is a welcoming country steeped in history and the ideal place for Sara and I to celebrate our eight year anniversary. Together, we explored the quintessential tourist landmarks, including: Trinity College Library and the Book of Kells, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Temple Bar, and Dublin Castle. We poured the perfect pint of Guinness at St. James Gate and stepped back in time to Dublin’s oldest pub, The Brazen Head, established in 1198. Eight years is a quarter of my life but only a brief moment when compared to an eight hundred year old pub. We may never reach that milestone but we can certainly raise a glass to the past eight years and the next eight years.
