Jessica and Mo met on an online dating site and have been together for about two years. Right away they shared their love of traveling. He gave her a promise ring as they sat on a gondola under the Bridge of Sighs in Venice. What a romantic moment!
The proposal was just as special. While on a weekend trip to her grandparents’ lake house, Jessica got a fantastic surprise when Mo asked for her hand while their families watched. It was such a wonderful way to officially start their lives together.
The sun was shining on this gorgeous day for their engagement session. There were many great moments along Saint Anthony Main and you can plainly see the love these two people share.
Congratulations on your engagement and I am looking forward to the wedding!
Beth and Jake met by chance on a night out in downtown Minneapolis. When they saw each other again at a hockey tournament a few months later they decided to meet for dinner and have been in each other’s lives ever since.
They were on vacation in Mexico when Jake proposed. It was their first night on the beach and Beth was thrilled when he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. The beautiful tanzanite ring that Jake offered her he bought years before while they were at Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. He knew even then that someday Beth would be his wife.
The couple knew right away when and where the ceremony would take place. In memory of their late fathers, July 25th at Glensheen Mansion were the day and venue that would honor their memories best. What a beautiful way to include those who could only attend in spirit.
The couple enjoyed beautiful weather in an idyllic setting near Lake Superior during their special day. They celebrated not only their union but also the love and support they had from all their family and friends. Thank you for having me be a part of your celebration.

Cedric and Kate met while attending school at the University of Northwestern St. Paul. Both were engineering students and their busy schedules made it hard to connect at first, but by the spring of 2012 they had started dating.
Two years later, in the spring of 2014, Cedric was ready to ask Kate to be his wife. After a chaotic evening of running unplanned errands and a late dinner out at Victoria’s Restaurant in Rochester, Cedric sat down at the piano. He played “All of Me” by John Legend and was rewarded with an enthusiastic “Yes!” when he closed his concert with a proposal.
Now the two have joined as one in a classy family reunion union. The Dellwood Country Club provided a beautiful shady garden backdrop for their special day. The memorable first look captured their happiness wonderfully as they strolled the grounds before the ceremony. Sunshine peeked through the willow trees at just the right moments and made them magical.
The ceremony was held at St. Joseph’s Church in St. Paul where the vaulted ceilings and stained glass lent elegance and grace to the nuptials. Surrounded by their closest family and friends the couple said “I do” and lit their candle of unity. Cedric then whisked his bride away to the country club for the reception.
Dinner and dancing awaited the newlyweds and their guests back at the country club. The beautiful bride and proud groom showed off on the dance floor and had to answer some tough questions during the shoe game. So who is the better kisser?
Some fun with fireworks added just the right amount of sparkle to Cedric and Kate’s gorgeous wedding celebration. Many happy wishes to this lovely couple!

TJ and Amanda were introduced by a family member almost a decade ago on a weekend trip to Wisconsin Dells. It wasn’t until meeting again at a Timberwolves game years later that sparks flew and they realized they belonged together.
TJ proposed to Amanda while on vacation in Two Harbors. After an adventure and finding the perfect little hidden cove, TJ knew the timing was just right to pop the question. Good thing she said yes!
The happy couple found the perfect spot at Superior Shores resort in Two Harbors for their relaxed beach wedding. Surrounded by their closest friends and family their special day was filled with blue skies, calm water, laughter and love.
Thank you for having me there to photograph your big day. Congratulations!

You could say there were fireworks from the first moment Amanda and Travis met. It was the Fourth of July at the cabin and Amanda’s friends didn’t trust her with the fireworks. Amanda and Travis had just met and he thought it would be a good idea to let the cute girl light them anyways— the worst that could happen is that he would score some brownie points. Amanda nearly lit her hair on fire!
Five years later Travis, like a gentlemen, asked permission to marry Amanda and had bigs plans for a romantic evening. He asked if she wanted anything special for dinner but Amanda thought it was just another Friday night and wanted pizza rolls. Travis obliged and while waiting for those pizza rolls he got down on one knee to present his Great Grandmother’s ring.
Their wedding at the Stillwater Carnegie Library was on the rooftop terrace overlooking the Saint Croix River— the perfect location for a summer celebrations. Amanda and Travis got married on the longest day of the year! During the dance I overheard a call from the grouchy neighbors complaining about the music. Oops! When you’re in love you just do care who hears it and besides it wasn’t even dark yet— they should probably go bake some bake some pizza rolls of their own.
