Ben and Rachel said “I do,” at the Grand Superior Lodge in Two Harbors, MN. The couple opted for an intimate ceremony along the shores of Lake Superior, which was officiated by the groom’s father. The crisp fall day was perfectly paired with pies from the Rustic Inn Cafe, and it was beautiful to watch these two celebrate the love they have for each other. Congratulations Ben and Rachel!

Kelsey and Claudia met through mutual friends that they both knew from school and soccer. In January, they will have officially been together for seven years! They proposed to each other on a trip to the beach and the Portland Malt Shoppe. First, Claudia popped the question to Kelsey beside the shores of Lake Superior, and then they headed over to the malt shoppe where Kelsey had a special spoon prepared for Claudia to use. When the malt was gone and spoon licked clean, the phrase “Will you marry me?” appeared engraved on the metal of the spoon. And the rest is history.

Sean and Cora met while they were both counselors at a YMCA summer camp. They sported a semi-secret romance until they could make it official at the end of the summer. Seven years later, Sean popped the question at a Tough Mudders race after both he and Cora had been literally shocked by the last obstacle. He got down on one jittery knee with a little box, and asked Cora to marry him. Needless to say, she said yes!
Their wedding took place on a gorgeous fall day at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, and their reception was held at Clyde Iron Works. It was the perfect day to celebrate the love these two have for each other. Congrats!

Jeff and Caitie’s story began in August of 2014. They had both decided to give online dating a shot after the traditional ways of dating had not produced the right person for either of them. Jeff messaged Caitie asking one simple question, “If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?” Caitie, being the traveler that she is, was enthralled by this message and eagerly replied. After that, in the words of Caitie, “there was no stopping us.”
This past Christmas, Jeff surprised Caitie with the best present of her life. After they had opened up their Christmas presents, Jeff descended the stairs, saying that there was one present that was too big to wrap in the basement. After a little while, he called Caitie down and when she got there, he was down on one knee with a ring in hand. After the initial moment of surprise, Caitie said yes!
Their wedding took place at the Manhattan Beach Lodge in Crosslake on a beautifully windy day. They said “I do,” beside the lake, and then headed over to Whitefish Lodge & Suites for the reception. Congratulations Jeff and Caitie! Thanks for letting me be part of your special day.

Jake and Kimberly met at a country music concert and started seeing each other shortly after. Fast forward a few years to Kim’s birthday weekend in Oceanside, California, and Jake is down on one knee beside the water asking Kim to marry him. Jake knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her when he couldn’t imagine a day without seeing Kim. For engagement photos we spent the day exploring Amity Creek and Stoney Point, enjoying the gorgeous weather, and celebrating the love that these two obviously have for each other. Perfection.
