Jon and Lisa met online and it took over a month of emailing back and forth before Lisa made it entirely obvious that she was interested in being asked on a first date. Soon after, Jon proposed with a sonnet he had written especially for the occasion. He had Lisa read it aloud and at the end asked her the question he had been dying to ask for months. Her reply was “Wonderfully, happily, heart-stoppingly, perfectly— YES.” Dinner was not quite ready so the two danced by candle light to Sinatra in the kitchen.
Their wedding at Christ Presbyterian Church in Edina was a joyous celebration filled with love and laughter. Friends and family are one of the most important parts of Jon and Lisa’s life and they wanted a wedding that focused on those relationships and Christ while forgoing the pageantry and fluff. The church was filled with those who love Jon and Lisa and everyone would agree their wedding was a perfect representation of their love. Best of all, we had Chipotle for dinner and if you ask me it is one of the finest wedding meals I’ve ever had.
For Love. For Life. For Real. For Keeps.
