On the banks of the Onion River, just north of Tofte is one of Nick and Gina’s favorite hikes. The rest stop was also a construction project that he worked on, so it’s a bit of a “nostalgic” location. Last year Nick wanted to recreate an old photo, and that got Gina’s attention. Something suspicious was afoot. Sure enough, Nick popped the question and forever cemented the small town of Tofte and the North Shore as one of their favorite places.
